I have had her the entire time with the exception of my mission when my mom and brother took care of her.
The vet ran some tests and her kidneys are failing. She can't get new kidneys, so we are coming to that point. The vet said we did at least have a chance...the goal was to recharge/flush out her kidneys so that we can get them working properly again. Our options were: hospitalize her for 48 hours so that she could be hooked up to an IV and retested, an at home treatment that would require me to give her fluids every hour (orally or through a shot,) or to do nothing. If we decided to do nothing, she had two weeks. Ya that was pretty hard to hear, but we decided to do the at-home treatment.
She has been hanging in there...after two and a half days of being poked and prodded, she was fed up with it. Since then she has been eating more, drinking slightly more, and still taking medication.
